Integration Task List
Over the course of my career, I have been responsible for integrating over thirty acquisitions. Most were privately owned but three were public companies. The common thread was the need to create a task list during the final stages of negotiation and deal closure. The obvious financial, banking and legal changes were the easiest part. The difficult part was the post close tasks such as employee notification, reassignment of contracts, trade shows, expense reimbursement policies, etc. This list is a good starting point to review your particular transition needs and build your own list to serve your transition goals.
